Responsibilities include:
- Create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products sold within the department and store.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of products to respond to inquiries and make suggestions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
- Prepare beverages according to recipes and standards, and handle transactions properly.
- Offer product samples and inform customers of specials.
- Provide fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
- Recommend items to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Use all equipment safely and appropriately, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens.
- Label, stock, and inventory merchandise accurately.
- Report discrepancies and safety issues promptly.
- Follow safety procedures and food safety regulations.
- Perform equipment maintenance and notify management of repairs needed.
- Report accidents and safety risks.
- Work effectively in high-paced, stressful environments.
- Manage conflicts professionally.
- Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
