Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued by answering questions about products and assisting throughout the store.
- Maintain knowledge of products to respond to inquiries and make recommendations.
- Promote teamwork and collaborate with associates to meet company goals.
- Prepare beverages according to recipes and customer requests using proper equipment; process transactions following best practices.
- Offer samples and inform customers about specials to enhance their experience.
- Ensure products are fresh, properly portioned, and inventory is maintained.
- Use equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, and blenders safely and correctly.
- Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies to management.
- Stay informed about current promotions and adhere to safety and food safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any issues; follow safety protocols and report accidents or illegal activities.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
- Support and assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Excellent customer service skills.
