Job summary

Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students in the STAR Program in Osterville, MA. The role focuses on helping students develop functional skills for greater independence in school and daily life.

The OT will conduct assessments, design and implement IEP-aligned therapy plans, provide direct services in classrooms and community settings, and collaborate with educators, families and related providers to advance learning and participation.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with students with significant disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of sensory integration, assistive technology, and adaptive strategies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ sensory, motor, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services in classroom and community-based settings.
• Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers.
• Support staff in implementing sensory strategies and adaptive techniques.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress monitoring and documentation.
• Assist in the selection and use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
• Promote student engagement in meaningful activities that support learning and independence.
