Job summary

Delta is building the next generation of solid‑state, grid‑interactive power blocks to enable high‑density, flexible power delivery for datacenters, renewable energy systems, and advanced microgrids. The Standards / Certification Engineer ensures SST and microgrid solutions comply with US standards and regulatory requirements.

You will lead US certification strategies, coordinate with UL, IEEE, ANSI, NEC, monitor regulatory changes, and drive test plans and documentation to support product

Responsibilities

  • US Standards & Regulatory Leadership
  • Interpret and apply US-specific standards and grid codes applicable to SSTs, converters, and microgrid systems
  • Act as the internal expert on UL, IEEE, ANSI, and NEC requirements related to grid-interactive power electronics
  • Monitor changes in US regulations, utility interconnection rules, and standards updates, and assess their impact on product roadmaps
  • Certification & Compliance Execution
  • Develop and own US certification strategies for SST and microgrid products
  • Lead product certifications with UL, CSA (US), Intertek, and other NRTLs.
  • Define and review certification test plans (safety, grid compliance, EMC, environmental)
  • Support laboratory testing, troubleshoot test failures, and drive corrective actions
  • Review and approve certification reports and compliance documentation

About the role

The Standards / Certification Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Solid-State Transformer (SST) and microgrid solutions comply with applicable U.S standards, certifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
