Job summary

Ryder in Dekalb, Illinois is hiring a Warehouse Stand up Reach Operator to join a team focused on accuracy and safety. The role uses stand-up high reach equipment and supports loading, packing, shipping, and cycle counting tasks.

Weekly pay at $20.30 per hour, three-and-a-half day workweek (Sun-Tue, some Wed hours), and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Training is provided on the job to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift Operator's License certified.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to be punctual and maintain good attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand long periods.
• Flexible schedule across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance guidelines of the contract; maintain accuracy in picking/packing and paperwork.
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during shift hours.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
