Job summary

Novolex is seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Ohio. The role involves accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, with compensation ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shift.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and capable of using warehouse equipment safely. Prior shipping or warehouse experience and basic math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick and pack orders based on customer requests and shipping schedules.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items against order lists to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and effectively (if applicable).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory management by reporting discrepancies or low stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Job Description

Available Shift: 8am to 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

• Standup Forklift Preferred
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Good physical stamina, as the role requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring items accurately.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.
