Job summary

Economy Wholesale Grocers in El Paso, TX is seeking a motivated team member to pick, pack, and ship supplies for local and international customers.

You will operate a stand‑up forklift, perform quality inspections, sort merchandise, and keep a clean, safe dock. High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification preferred; bilingual able to assist a diverse customer base.

This full‑time night shift offers weekly schedule and benefits including medical, vision, dental, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.

• Perform quality inspections and ensure proper recording of merchandise.
• Maintain a safe, clean dock and assist customers as needed.

Our market knowledge, cross-border partnerships, export services, and professional bilingual team have helped make Economy Wholesale Grocers the regional leader in wholesale commerce, serving the U.S. and Mexico.What we are looking forMotivated individual who provides outstanding customer service by picking, packing, and shipping supplies and merchandise to local and international customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks merchandise.Duties and Responsibilities:Under direction of supervisor, safely transports incoming and outgoing merchandise to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to handheld device, forklift, and/or electric pallet jack.Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing merchandise. Ensure merchandise is recorded correctly.Safely sorts and places merchandise on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures. Replenishes merchandise from reserves as needed.Accurately picks and packs customer orders as needed.Removes damaged merchandise and places it in its designated area.Maintains proper rotation of merchandise.Always keep safety a priority, to include pedestrian traffic and forklift operation.Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE, examples: Safety Belt, High Visibility Vest).Maintains a safe, clean working environment, to include maintaining a clean dock and clean aisles.Participates in quality improvement efforts.Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.Assists customers as needed.
