Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. The role offers first shift hours (Mon-Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm) with weekly pay, paid training, and extensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

You will operate stand-up forklifts in a clean, safe facility handling medical supplies, while contributing to accurate picking, packing, and shipping. A license and experience are preferred, with opportunities for career growth within Ryder.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accuracy in picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
