Ryder is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a pathway for career growth within a team-focused supply chain culture.

You will operate stand-up forklifts to move medical supplies, with a first shift schedule (Mon-Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). A forklift license and 1+ year experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible schedule and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
