Job summary

Jobandtalent is recruiting for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to work with Alene Candles, LLC in New Albany. This role supports warehouse operations by safely loading and unloading trailers, transporting materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Shift patterns: 2nd shift, Mon–Fri 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm with mandatory overtime possible. Pay rate is 24.50 USD hourly. Work is based in a warehouse setting in New Albany with varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers within the last six months.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when required.
• RF scanners experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
• Move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Verify product counts and inspect shipments for damage.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory movements.
• Stage materials for production and shipping departments.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and GMP standards.
