Now Hiring: Stand-Up Forklift Operators Needed!

Pay: $16.80/hr
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 9 AM-6 PM, 10 AM-7 PM with mandatory overtime/open to Saturdays

The Lee Group is seeking skilled/experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operators for our client in Chesapeake, VA. As a Stand-Up Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, moving products and supplies around the warehouse, and performing various other duties as assigned on a Stand-Up Forklift. The ideal candidate must have previous forklift operation experience, specifically on a Stand-Up Forklift, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of a Stand-Up Forklift Operator:

1. Operate forklift safely and efficiently
2. Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles
3. Move products and materials around the warehouse as needed
4. Maintain accurate inventory records
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures
7. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of a Stand-Up Forklift Operator:

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum of 4-10 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
3. Experience with RF scanners and inventory management systems
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
6. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
