Automation Personnel Services in Dalton, GA is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility. The role involves safely operating reach forklifts, loading and unloading materials, and moving goods within the plant.

Shifts include Day 8AM-8PM and Night 8PM-8AM with a requirement to work every other weekend. Pay is $18/hour during the day and $19/hour at night, with full benefits after one year.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years stand up reach experience.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operating instructions.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.
• Forklift testing with the company prior to placement.

Responsabilités

Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Stand-Up Forklift Operator for a well-established manufacturing facility in Dalton, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a safety-focused team where reliability, teamwork, and hard work are valued and rewarded.

Pay Rate

Day: $18 per hour

Night: $19 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Day: 8AM-8PM swing shift

Night: 8PM-8AM swing shift

Must work every other weekend

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload materials from racks and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility
• Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
• Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Min. 5 years stand up reach experience
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of shift- needed to operate reach.

• Forklift testing with the company prior to placement is required.
