Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑mocused, high‑energy team in Shippensburg, PA. This full‑time role offers a base rate of $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Responsibilities include staging and loading, operating a Stand Up Clamp Truck, scanning inventory, packing for shipping, and maintaining daily logs with accuracy and safety as priorities.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a Stand Up Clamp Truck.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Complete daily logs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
