Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is hiring a Stamp Operator for 1st shift in Defiance, OH. You will load, set up and operate stamping equipment, enter part data in the ERP system, and perform preventive maintenance to keep presses running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and LOTO certification. This is a full-time, on-site role with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient and basic math and computer skills.
• LOTO certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work every day, on time as scheduled.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Examine parts to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality.
• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system.
• Load, setup, operate stamping equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep stamping press running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Ability to use motorized walking stacker.
• Follow Lock out Tag Out procedures when applicable.
