Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the 3rd shift at our Defiance, OH facility. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up tooling, programming the press, and running parts to spec.

You will follow safety procedures, perform quality checks, enter data into the ERP, and perform basic maintenance to keep equipment running. A $1000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to operate cranes, overhead hoists.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Read blueprints and verify parts meet standards.
• Enter part data and inventory in ERP system.
• Set up, program and operate Press Brake equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance to keep equipment running.
• Maintain safety with light barriers and equipment handling.
