Job summary

MiTek is seeking a hands-on Die Setter/Technician in Tolleson, AZ to demonstrate proficiency with automatic equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes. You will set, change, trouble shoot, remove/install die sections and perform preventative maintenance to keep stamping dies running smoothly.

Responsibilities include assembling components per documentation to tight tolerances, identifying nonconforming parts, and training others as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality.
• Ability to interact professionally with others including coworkers, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Change various components inside the die.
• Remove and install die sections.
• Trouble shoot forming issues, punch issues and progression issues.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules.
• Perform required preventative maintenance.
