Job summary

IB-TECH in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a motivated Stamping Support Technician for the 3rd shift to join our team. You will monitor stamping equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical mindset, basic repair skills, and a willingness to train on cranes and tow motors. This full-time role offers hands-on training and opportunities for growth in a busy automotive manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to recognize quality issues before they become problems.
• Dependable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stamping equipment and production processes.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist with emergency repairs on stamping and assembly dies.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Track finished products, empty totes, and skids.
• Support maintenance, production, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles.
• Assist with production needs across departments as required.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Operate cranes and tow motors (training provided).
