Job summary

Metalsa Hopkinsville is seeking a seasoned Press Operations Manager to own all press activities in our chassis plant. You will lead safety, quality, delivery, cost and people, and play a key role in budgets and new programs.

You’ll drive lean initiatives within the MOS framework, guide production scheduling, and support launches while developing your team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Hopkinsville, KY.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of salaried experience in a press or stamping area.
• 3–5 years leading press operations in roles such as Press Operations Manager, Stamping Manager, or Stamping Superintendent.
• Significant role in a lean operating system (MOS, TPS or similar).
• Experience with lean manufacturing, quality management systems and EHS fundamentals.
• Availability for weekend and after-hours support as needed.

• Lead a safety-first culture, with a goal of zero accidents.
• Oversee daily and monthly production and hit production targets.
• Drive lean and continuous improvement for top quality and on-time delivery at the lowest cost.
• Support the Area Manager on budgets, forecasting, staffing, equipment and quality goals.
