Their main focus is on the machinery that shapes metal parts (like body panels) through stamping processes. This role ensures that all purchased capital equipment complies with FCA US LLC, state, and federal standards and regulations as well as Safety standards.
The ideal candidate can track equipment build progress, timing, and costs, and resolve equipment issues from the design phase through startup. The Engineer also manages equipment documentation, software, and final deliverables including the transition of equipment to FCA US LLC stamping plants.
This role is critical in ensuring that the pressroom operates efficiently, safely, and produces high‑quality stamped components for automotive assembly.
