Job summary

Greenville Tool and Die is seeking a Die Designer to develop and detail stamping die designs (progressive, transfer, line) for sheet metal dies. You will create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with customer specs and manufacturing standards.

The role requires 3+ years in die design, CAD proficiency (CATIA/NX), and GD&T knowledge. Great teamwork with simulation, engineering, and toolroom is essential, with a night shift that includes a shift premium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Design, CAD, Tool Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in die design for stamping applications (progressive/transfer dies preferred).
• Proficient in CAD software (CATIA, NX) and GD&T knowledge.
• Able to interpret customer specs and part prints and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Design complete stamping dies (progressive, transfer, line) from part print through final build release.
• Create 3D die designs and 2D detail drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with simulation, engineering, and toolroom teams to ensure design feasibility.
