The Die Designer is responsible for developing and detailing die designs used in the manufacture of sheet metal stamping dies. This role creates accurate 3D models and 2D drawings for blanking, progressive, transfer, and line dies using CAD software, ensuring that designs meet customer specifications, manufacturing standards, and formability requirements.
Work environment : Manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
