Stamping & Bending Machine Operator
IN MUSKEGON, MI

Summary:
To load, operate, and adjust spring steel machines and auxiliary equipment to maintain required quality and quantity of produced parts. Operator will be in charge of performing quality checks, and maintaining machine through tooling adjustments and setup's as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Able to read and interpret blueprints, hand sketches from verbal and/or written instructions.
• Check parts using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, comparator)
• Perform minor and basic adjustments on equipment as needed.
• Works according to ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
  

• Works according to SCHERDEL‘s and the Customer‘s quality and environmental system requirements

Position Requirements:

• Experience working with manufacturing presses.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Entry level tool and die experience
• One year minimum of experience working in a automotive manufacturing setting.

Shift Availability:
Training for this position happens on 1st shift for up to 6 months, Monday - Thursday, 6am to 4pm.
Current openings are on 2nd shift, hours are flexible around standard shift schedule of 3pm to 11pm Monday - Friday.
