Responsibilities

• Leads in setting up dies and related equipment.
• Completes die changeovers safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoots stamping processes and changes over multiple part number dies.
• Trains as Stamping Press Operator to run a press as needed.
• Keeps work area clean and safe following 5S standards.
• Follows KanBan pull systems and quality objectives.

Location: Walker, MI

Shift: 2nd (3:00pm-1:10am, Mon-Thurs; orientation at 2:00pm)

Weekend Shift Available

Pay: $20-$24/hour

Become a key part of our dynamic production team as an experienced Press Operator. You will operate and monitor press and banding tools within an assembly cell while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!

Leads in setting up dies and related equipment

Completes entire die changeover from last-piece to first-piece in a safe and efficient manner.

Ability to accomplish die sets, press operations and troubleshooting of stamping processes in a methodical manner.

Ability to change over multiple part number dies.

Trained as Stamping Press Operator and is capable of running a press as necessary.

Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition, following 5S standards.

Responsible for following work instructions KanBan pull systems

Understanding and working knowledge of all job related Quality Objectives, Quality System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret safety, production, and quality documents
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Positive team player with effective communication skills
• Able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards a plus
