Job summary

LCEC seeks an experienced leader in Lovington, NM to manage staking of distribution and transmission facilities and to supervise staking technicians and contractors. You will also assist in the Key Accounts program for large users and drive efficiency and safety across field operations.

The role requires developing procedures, budgets, training programs, and maintaining regulatory compliance with state and federal rules. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ten years staking/operations experience preferred.
• Associate degree or two years in electrical engineering preferred.
• Technical surveying/drafting certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with NEC, NESC, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops procedures and budgets to meet objectives.
• Surveys, engineers, locates facilities; stakes lines as needed.
• Directs contractor workflow for line construction.
• Manage pole inspection contractors and related agreements.
• Maintain compliance with NM land rights and One Call systems.
