Job summary

Salas O’Brien, Inc. in Northern Colorado is seeking a shop/fabrication specialist to fabricate stainless-steel equipment and piping to finished USDA Dairy standards. You will interpret shop prints and create parts using water jet cutting, finishing equipment, and TIG welding.

The role combines shop and field work with teammates to meet schedules. Must be able to lift, drive a forklift, and be open to in-house training; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tig welding is required.
• Detail oriented with ability to read shop prints.
• Open to in-house training and learning on the job.
• Ability to drive a forklift is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate stainless-steel components from raw materials to finished product.
• Interpret shop prints and transfer designs to finished parts.
• Maintain high quality standards, including USDA Dairy-grade finish.
• Collaborate with team to meet project schedules.
• Perform calculations for angles and offsets.
