Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Welder for a long-term shop fabrication project in Billings, MT. The ideal candidate will handle planning, layout, welding, testing, and repair of process piping and tubular products according to applicable plans and codes.

OSHA 10 certification is preferred, and prior orbital welding experience is a plus. This role requires strong safety habits, teamwork, and the ability to train welder helpers on complex tasks in a fast-paced shop

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years welding experience required.
• Prior welding experience in construction/mining or related industry preferred.
• Completing a welding qualification is a requirement.
• Orbital welding training will be provided but prior orbital welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, weld, install, test and repair all types of process piping and similar tubular products per plans and codes.
• Weld test required and supervise/train welder helpers.
• Inspect working conditions and identify problems and cost-saving measures; take corrective actions.
• Choose filler metals and materials to complete assignments; produce quality work per specs.
