Watson Custom Tanks in Springfield, MO is seeking a TIG Welder to join our stainless‑steel tank fabrication team. You will TIG weld tanks and components, lay out and fit heads and shells, prepare joints, and document welds and heat codes according to specs.

• Ability to pass a 1G TIG weld test
• Basic fabrication skills
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Basic understanding of weld gauges and blueprint reading
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless-steel tanks and components
• Layout and fit tank heads and shells according to blueprints and specifications
• Prepare weld joints and ensure proper fit-up before welding
• Use weld gauges to verify weld quality and compliance
• Complete weld logs, heat code documentation, and traveler paperwork accurately
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and shop drawings
• Operate hand tools and fabrication equipment safely
• Use overhead cranes and material-handling equipment safely
• Work within confined spaces when required
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE
• Support teammates and assist with additional manufacturing duties as needed

• Welding/fabrication experience preferred
