Loenbro in Billings, MT is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Journeyman to plan and install piping systems for construction projects. The role requires welding, joining, and installing diverse piping systems, including valves, with attention to safety and quality.

The candidate will work under a Foreman/Superintendent, travel as needed, and contribute to a team dedicated to building and maintaining critical infrastructure with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and installing piping systems on construction sites.
• Ability to read blueprints and install valves.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience welding carbon and stainless steel.
• Ability to travel/relocate as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Configure pipe systems blueprint and plan piping systems layouts.
• Ensure all steam, water, chemicals, or other liquids are turned off before working on the piping system.
• Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel.
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed.
• Install piping or tubing segments securely with welding or other equipment.
• Thread, weld, solder piping together.
