Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Welder and Fabricator who possesses exceptional skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. The Welder and Fabricator will possess skills in grinding and finishing work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in stainless steel welding and fabrication, demonstrating expertise in creating durable and precise components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on components with precision and accuracy.
· Grind and smooth parts prior to finishing operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to fabricate components according to specifications.
• Utilize various hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble steel parts.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet the highest standards.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve project goals.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
· Sheet metal work - bending, forming, shearing, and transporting materials.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in stainless steel welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
• Familiarity with various hand and power tools used in welding and fabrication.
· Able to perform tasks that require extensive standing, walking, and lifting to transport and stock supplies and materials.
