Elevant Recruiting is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder (Stainless Steel) in Irwindale, CA for a direct-hire role. This position focuses on TIG welding, stainless steel fabrication, and producing precision, high-quality components from detailed drawings.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, and work with ASME vessels and piping systems in a production setting. Safety and quality are priorities in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong TIG welding skills producing clean, high‑quality welds.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and welding symbols.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate stainless steel tanks, ASME pressure vessels, piping systems and custom components from blueprints and drawings.
• Perform precision TIG and MIG welding, including purge welding for sanitary stainless steel piping.
• Measure, cut, fit, tack, form and assemble components to meet tolerances and specs.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate fit-up and finished assemblies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow shop safety procedures.
