Job summary

Marlin Steel Wire Products is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to support custom, high-volume stainless steel and wire assembly production. This role requires strong blueprint interpretation skills, attention to detail, and active participation in in‑process quality control within a manufacturing environment.

You will weld stainless steel and wire assemblies, interpret fabrication drawings, and use precision measuring tools to verify conformance, while maintaining ISO 9001 and safety standards on

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on stainless steel, steel, and wire assemblies for custom and high-volume production jobs.
Interpret full fabrication drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and weld requirements.
Use precision measuring tools to verify product conformance.
Complete traveler documentation accurately and in real time.
Conduct first piece, in-process, and last piece inspections.
Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances with Quality Department.
