Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services Warrington LLC is looking for a Staging Technician in Warrington, PA to prepare finished prescriptions and perform light warehouse tasks. You will scan orders, stage for delivery, pack totes, and prep refrigerated products for timely delivery.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, with duties expanding to delivery manifests and related paperwork as needed. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Scan medication orders to tote and stage for delivery in the dispensing system.
• Monitor workflow and ensure product movement from pharmacy to delivery system.
• Sort and pack orders within delivery totes.
• Prepare refrigerated product for delivery to ensure stability.
• Prepare delivery manifests and paperwork for correct totes.
• Review accuracy of totes and medications before sealing for delivery personnel.

Job Summary:

The Staging Technician is responsible for preparing the finished prescriptions as well as other light warehouse duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure all medication orders are scanned to tote in dispensing system and staged correctly for each delivery route
• Monitor workflow and ensure consistent product movement from pharmacy to delivery dispensing system
• Ensure all medication orders are neatly sorted and packed within delivery totes
• Preparation of refrigerated product going out for delivery to ensure product stability
• Prepare and stage delivery manifests and ancillary paperwork to correct delivery totes
• Accuracy review of delivery totes and medications to ensure completeness prior to sealing totes for handing to delivery personnel
• Prepare for next delivery route by setting up empty delivery totes and new delivery barcode labels applied
• Preparation of STAT deliveries for timely departure with interaction with delivery personnel
• Sorting returned signed delivery manifests and scanning into document imaging system
• Assist in preparation of emergency drug kit deliveries including tracking and expiration monitoring
• Ability to perform tasks under pressure and within a deadline driven environment
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, walk
• May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
• May lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY

• Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days.
• Employees earn up to 10 PTO days each year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses.

Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
