LayerZero Power Systems INC is seeking a Staging Operator for the 2nd shift in Aurora, Ohio. The role involves coordinating and preparing materials for production, following 3D models, using hand tools, and ensuring accurate staging and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

You will support assembly by preparing parts, organizing pallets, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the staging area. Candidates should have basic tool knowledge and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in staging, material handling, or warehouse operations.
• Basic computer skills (browser, email) required.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow 3D model to install final parts on power cabinets.
• Use standard hand tools to complete tasks.
• Sort and stage material for final packaging.
• Assemble wood pallets as required.
• Verify material accuracy against specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols and keep staging area organized.
• Assist in other material handling tasks as needed.

Position Description: Staging Operator- 2nd Shift

The Staging Operator at LayerZero Power Systems LLC. will be responsible for coordinating and preparing materials and components for production while ensuring they are properly organized and ready for uses strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail, and works effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties:

• Follow 3D model to install final parts (i.e. cover panels, labels, etc.) on power cabinets
• Use standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.) to complete tasks assigned
• Sort and stage material to be used at final packaging station
• Assemble wood pallets as required
• Verify the accuracy of the materials and components received by comparing them to the specifications provided
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to appropriate personnel
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean and organized staging area
• Assists in other tasks related to material handling and inventory control as needed
• Standing for extended periods of time also will be bending, squatting, kneeling, or climbing a stepladder

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in staging, material handling, or warehouse operations preferred
• Basic knowledge of standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Basic computer skills (i.e. web browser, email)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and types of materials/components
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school preferred.
