Colorado Community College System is seeking a Stagehand Work-Study at the Community College of Denver on the Auraria Campus. The role supports the Performing Arts department with day-to-day operations and production tasks for music recitals and theatrical events.
This student-focused position provides hands-on experience in event production, lighting, audio, and set work while helping move productions forward and staff department events.

A Work Study Stagehand will assist the Performing Arts department in day-to-day operations within the department as well as assisting in production-based tasks for music recitals, theatrical productions, and other events. The purpose of this position is to give students valuable experience in an event production environment while mutually benefitting the department in moving productions forward and staffing events of the department.
All CCD Work Study eligibility requirements must be met.
A general knowledge of/appreciation for theatre and music.

This role will allow the student to gain valuable event/concert/theatrical production experience in a proper learning environment, and it will teach valuable skills in the paperwork side of theatre/music production that beginning artists typically don't experience. This position aims to teach personal responsibility, accountability, and time management skills, which are imperative in any career. The ACD-EDU Pathway-- Theatre, Music, Recording Arts, Graphic Design, Architecture, etc. This position is fantastic for a creative person who can handle a fast paced environment, enjoy tasks which require fine motor skills or a designer's eye, can learn quickly, isn't afraid to fail or be told \"No\", and works well in teams.
