Job summary

The stagehand position at AEG involves performing all setup before, during, and after events, including assembling and disassembling production equipment on stage. You will work closely with carpenters, electricians, and lighting staff to support scenery, video, sound and light production.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–2 years in related work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Previous manual labor experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to follow directions and execute instructions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up equipment at the beginning of the show, and disassemble after.
• Load and unload equipment from trucks and set up according to stage design while ensuring safety.
• Assist carpenters with scenery build, installation, and stage maintenance.
• Collaborate with electricians and lighting staff on video, sound, and light systems.
