The Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville seeks a stagehand to support back‑of‑house operations for stage productions and events, handling audio, lighting, video, rigging, and related gear.
This role collaborates with TPAC staff, touring productions, and community partners, assisting with setup, maintenance, and safety. Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience and basic electrical skills, with availability for nights and weekends.
Stagehands support the back of house operation in all activities needed to provide a positive experience for all clients and internal departments. Responsible for the operation of audio, lighting, video, rigging and other theatrical equipment. This position assists with the maintenance of theatrical systems used in support of stage productions, meetings and related events at The TN Performing Arts Center.
