Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh - Bradford & Titusville is seeking a reliable Stagehand to assist with setup, execution, and teardown of campus arts and music events. This is a part-time, on-call position scheduled per event with 3–10 hours monthly.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing arts or music events
• Familiarity with standard industry equipment such as lighting instruments, audio gear, and cabling
• Ability to lift and move equipment and work flexible hours based on event schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and striking stages, lighting, sound, and other technical equipment
• Operate or assist with basic audio, lighting, and visual equipment during performances
• Load and unload gear and assist visiting artists and performers as needed
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of backstage and storage areas
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions from technical directors and event managers
