Job summary

The Paul D. Wachholz College Center at Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, MT, seeks a part-time technical specialist to support performances and events.

Responsibilities span audio, electrical, video, and rigging tasks for national tours and local events. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in a relevant technical area, with knowledge of QLab, DMX, ETC EOS consoles, and safe rigging practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, and at least two years in one of the listed technical areas.
• Audio: knowledge of digital consoles, wireless frequency distribution, and mixing FOH/Monitors.
• Electrical: knowledge of DMX and ETC EOS consoles.
• Rigging/Fly: understanding single-purchase counterweight systems.
• Video: ability to operate a video system with multi-source inputs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide-range of specialized technical support for events at the Wachholz College Center (WCC).
• Maintain a collaborative and collegial environment with FVCC staff and students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Reports to the Technical Director or designee.
