Job summary

Playbill, Inc. is seeking a REP Stage Manager for The Polar Express Train Ride in New Orleans. You will work with Production Stage Management to execute the season, coordinating rehearsals for a 50-60 performer cast and running multi-show days on a moving train.

Responsibilities include calling the show, supervising cast and crew, setting up rehearsal spaces, and ensuring safety policies. Must adapt to fast-paced conditions and travel within the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting productions in theater or live events.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced rehearsal and tech periods.
• Capacity to work with a cast in a moving train environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-production with production staff.
• Help manage rehearsals under Directors and Production Stage Manager.
• Set up and tear down rehearsal spaces, record blocking, and assist with props and sound.
• Call the show and supervise cast and crew during performances.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and maintain a positive team environment.
