Job summary

AEG Presents in Nashville is seeking a Stagehand Crew Chief to lead the stagehand team, load in/out for shows, and ensure safety and efficiency on productions.

Requirements include high school diploma, 2–4 years manual labor, forklift/heavy machinery certification, valid driver’s license if driving is required, and strong leadership. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Payscale applies to hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of manual labor experience.
• Forklift and heavy machinery certified.
• Valid driver’s license if venue location requires driving.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stagehand crew to load in/out during production while ensuring safety and timelines.
• Assign tasks for assembling props, audio, lighting, and show equipment.
• Maintain the stage and work area during events and supervise cleanup after shows.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and train team members on equipment operation.
• Manage crew time, breaks, and meals in line with wage laws.
