Elwood Staffing is seeking a Staffing Assistant to greet visitors, schedule and respond to inquiries, and process applicants and associates. You will support branch operations, customer service, and business development while promoting the company mission and values.

The role emphasizes delivering Superior Customer Service, cross-functional collaboration, and efficient intake/interview support in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, determine the nature of the business, and direct visitors to appropriate staff members.
• Answer incoming phone calls; assess urgency and take appropriate action.
• Coordinate and manage the flow of applicants through intake and interview process.
• Manage the new hire process and ensure all new hire documents are completed correctly.
• Administer pre-employment tests and enter results per SOPs.
• Ensure operations comply with company policies and government regulations.
