Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 40 hours with overtime as required

Scope of Position

A senior mechanical design engineer responsible for providing detailed mechanical designs of handling and process equipment. Responsible for all aspects of the design, build, and debug of equipment including vendor management. Hands‑on mechanical support for the installation, start-up, and debug of glass manufacturing process equipment. This includes working with a multi-functional team (mechanical, electrical, controls, facilities, IT, operations, etc.). Involves the application of mechanical principles encompassed in mechanics, hydraulics, thermodynamics, metallurgy, and machine design used for the design, production, operation, and use of machinery of all types.
