Job summary

Elevate Staffing is seeking a Staffing Manager to oversee global sports and fan-experience project staffing across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. You will source, vet, and manage event staff while ensuring flawless on-site execution.

Collaborating with Account Managers, Payroll and HR, you will meet staffing deadlines, maintain a 95% show rate, and adapt to fast-paced, international campaigns. Strong leadership and people skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in high-volume staffing environments or events.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Background in experiential staffing (events, activations, promotions) preferred.
  • Proficiency with staffing or project management systems like 1CRM, Asana, or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and vet qualified candidates for events and campaigns.
  • Meet staffing deadlines and maintain a 95% show rate.
  • Manage event-day logistics, including staff check-ins and replacements.
  • Provide real-time updates to Account Managers on staffing activity.
  • Partner with Payroll and HR to confirm onboarding documentation.
  • Escalate staffing or campaign concerns to Account Managers as needed.
  • Maintain proactive staffing strategies and backup talent pools for no-shows or cancellations.
  • Update field staff hours in 1CRM daily to ensure accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships with field teams and client contacts.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities to meet client and internal deliverables on time.

Staffing Manager – Global Sports & Fan Experience Projects (U.S., Mexico, Canada)

The Staffing Manager plays a key role in delivering top-quality talent for major international sporting and fan engagement events taking place across North America in 2026. This role focuses on sourcing, vetting, and managing event staff while ensuring seamless on-site execution. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, loves working with people, and takes pride in creating exceptional event experiences.

Staffing Managers report directly to the Staffing Director and Senior Staffing Manager, collaborating closely with peers, client teams, and field staff to meet staffing deadlines and uphold Elevate's standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, and vet qualified candidates for events and campaigns.
  • Meet all assigned staffing deadlines and maintain a 95% show rate.
  • Manage event-day logistics, including staff check-ins, replacements, and issue escalation.
  • Provide real-time updates to Account Managers on staffing activity and onsite performance.
  • Partner with Payroll and HR to confirm completion of all required onboarding documentation.
  • Escalate staffing or campaign concerns to Account Managers as needed.
  • Maintain proactive staffing strategies and utilize backup talent pools for no-shows or cancellations.
  • Update field staff hours in 1CRM daily to ensure accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships with field teams and client contacts.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required;
  • 2–3 years of experience in a high-volume staffing environment.
  • Background in experiential staffing (events, activations, or promotions) preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Experience using staffing or project management systems such as 1CRM, Asana, or Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends and improve performance.
Authorization Requirement

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while using a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to move throughout the workspace as needed.
