Job summary

Courtyards Care Center in Orlando, FL is seeking a Staffing Coordinator/CNA to manage nursing schedules and assist with staffing needs for our facility.

The role requires a CNA license and at least 1 year of scheduling experience in a busy healthcare environment. Prior experience in nursing homes or hospitals is preferred. Weekly pay, benefits, and retirement options are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license and have scheduling experience in healthcare.
• Experience coordinating staff in nursing homes, hospitals, or home health is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Timely posting of the nursing schedule.
• Add names of employees signing up for extra shifts to the schedule daily.
• Replace staff call outs as directed by Nursing leadership.
• Monitor the schedule daily to ensure proper nursing coverage.
• Calculate daily and projected nursing hours (PPD).
• Utilize scheduling reports and track overtime.
• Track time off requests for every scheduling period.

Courtyards Care Center in Orlando, FL is looking for outstanding CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) to join our team as the Staffing Coordinator!

Staffing Coordinator primary responsibilities include:

• Timely posting of the nursing schedule.
• Adds names of employees signing up for extra shifts to the nursing schedule daily.
• As instructed by Director of Nursing or designated nursing supervisor replaces staff call outs.
• Daily monitoring of staffing schedule to ensure proper nursing coverage on all nursing units and alerting Director of Nursing of staffing issues promptly.
• Calculating daily and projected nursing PPD hours.
• Utilizing appropriate tools such as but not limited to the actual versus scheduled report.
• Tracks overtime usage.
• Tracks nursing employee time off requests for every scheduling period.

Staffing Coordinator Education and Experience Requirements:

• CNA License
• Previous scheduling experience is required
• Previous experience working in nursing homes, hospitals, ALFs, and/or home health is required
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Requirement:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of Scheduling/Staffing experience in busy Healthcare environment
