Job summary

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is hiring a Staffing Coordinator CNA. You will serve as the primary contact for all staffing functions and schedule and coordinate staffing to ensure adequate clinical coverage.

Qualifications

• Current, valid licensure as a CNA is required.
• Experience in a nursing home or home health setting providing care to geriatric-age patients.
• Scheduling experience required; KRONOS experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing for all nursing personnel (RN, LVN, CMA, CNAs).
• Process applications for all positions.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidates.
• Complete new hire reference checks, license/certification verifications.
• Review staffing routinely and adjust based on census.
• Conduct clinical portion of the new hire orientation.
• Conduct drug testing of all new hires.
• Maintain attendance records, excused/unexcused absences.
• Set up, track and log attendance for all State mandated In-services and In-services as required by Administrator and DON.
• Annual Proficiency Testing for Certified Nurse Aides
• May Participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staff
• Maintain copies and track nurse and nurse aide licenses
• Track, audit and administer TB tests, Flu Shots, etc. for Residents and Employees
