Job summary

Avenue at Macedonia Care & Rehabilitation Center in Ohio is seeking a Staffing Coordinator / Central Supply to help keep our residents well cared for by aligning nursing schedules and maintaining essential supplies.

You will work with nursing staff and department leaders, manage inventory, track attendance, and communicate staffing needs to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain nursing department schedules.
• Coordinate staffing coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and vacations.
• Communicate staffing needs with department managers.
• Track attendance, call-offs, and staffing patterns.
• Assist with onboarding and scheduling new employees.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with staffing requirements and facility policies.
• Maintain inventory of medical, nursing, and facility supplies.
• Order, receive, and stock supplies as needed.
• Monitor supply usage and control costs.
• Distribute supplies to departments in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized storage areas and accurate inventory records.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist departments with supply-related needs.
