Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is hiring for a staffing/Human Resources oriented role tied to event operations in Texas. The position requires coordinating non-profit groups, coordinating volunteers, and maintaining high service standards for guests and staff.

The role emphasizes strong communication, basic MS Office skills, and flexibility to work extended shifts and up to 50 hours per week as business dictates. This on-site opportunity supports provisioning at arenas and live events.

Qualifications

• Staffing/Human Resources/Marketing experience OR an associate degree or higher in a related field (Human Resources, Hospitality, etc.)
• Experience with Non-Profit groups is a plus
• Able to communicate effectively with management team, guests, and team members
• Basic Knowledge of Programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Stamina to work 50 hours a week if needed
• Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
• Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift
• Ability to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer system

• Supports team to ensure hourly staff and Non-Profit groups are adhering to Proof of the Pudding Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual
• Participates in general office duties: meetings, cleaning, filing, and other similar administrative activities

Job Location: Credit Union of Texas Event Center - Allen, TX, Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00, RS3 Strategic Hospitality powered by Proof of the Pudding is a chef-led hospitality company delivering food and beverage experiences at some of North America’s most complex sports, entertainment, cultural, and live-event venues.

Controls

• Adequately recruits Non-Profit groups to volunteer at the Arena
• Adequately schedules Non-Profit groups to meet operational needs and target goals.
• Ensures compliance for Non-Profit groups policies, licensures, and procedures in accordance with Proof of the Pudding Core Signatures
• Engages regularly with staff and volunteers providing a high level of customer service/Human Resources presence
• Manages relationships with Non-Profit groups to ensure standard operating procedures are met providing follow up and continued guidance
• Consistent and constant feedback and communication to ensure retention and responsiveness
• Organize group needs weekly – touch base regarding upcoming events and registration activity
