Job summary

Fairmount Behavioral Health System is seeking a Weekend Part-Time Staffing Coordinator on our 27-acre campus in Philadelphia. The role focuses on coordinating nursing staff schedules across inpatient programs and assigning pool/float staff to cover vacancies, in alignment with our policies and philosophy.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred) with prior hospital staffing experience and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prefer prior hospital and staffing experience.
• Knowledge base of clinical needs for staffing is a plus.
• Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling needs of nursing staff in all inpatient programs with Program Coordinators.
• Assign pool and float staff to cover vacancies and staffing needs.
• Follow established policies/procedures and organizational philosophy while staffing.

Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health Systemis a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a Weekend Part-Time Staffing Coordinator to join our team.

The Staffing Coordinatoris responsible for coordinating the scheduling needs of nursing staff in all inpatient programs in conjunction with Program Coordinators. This individual coordinates the assignment of pool and float staff to supplement program schedule vacancies and staffing needs. The Staffing Coordinator performs responsibilities in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System
