Job summary

Professional Case Management (PCM) is seeking an organized scheduling coordinator to support our Home Care, Clinical Research, and related divisions. You will build monthly caregiver schedules, address urgent schedule issues, and manage client status lifecycle from referrals to discharges.

You will work with a recruiting team, maintain credentials of clinical staff, provide exceptional service to clients and caregivers, and generate regular reports on trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Staffing experience preferred, staffing for a facility, temporary agency or in-home health a plus.
• Call center experience in a “high-touch” customer service environment is a reasonable alternative.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or a general medical background a plus.
• Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Demonstrates exceptional time management and organizational skills, and ability to function with minimal direction.
• Position will require overtime hours at times due to unforeseen events that happen in the staffing department.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage all changes to the monthly caregiver schedules for an assigned territory.
• Address urgent issues with caregiver schedules (backfill call-offs, accommodate client preferences, etc.).
• In conjunction with a hands-on recruiting team, monitor and plan for upcoming needs within an assigned territory.
• Assist Human Resources with maintaining credentials of clinical employees.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients as well as build a strong partnership with hundreds of caregivers (PCAs, CNAs, LPNs and RNs).
• Maintain consistent communication with clinical field team within a territory including Regional Directors and Case Managers.
• Generate and distribute prefabricated and ad hoc reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis about a territory’s trends, challenges and successes.

These activities include developing monthly caregiver schedules, addressing urgent issues with caregiver schedules, managing the “lifecycle” of client status (referrals, opens, recertification’s and discharges), maintaining credentialing of clinical employees, on-call response and regular reporting.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
