Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Staff Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater projects from our Philadelphia office. The role focuses on wastewater treatment and conveyance, with opportunities to work with multiple private developers, municipalities and authorities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The engineer will support various projects by performing hydraulic modeling, design tasks, regulatory permitting, and plan/report preparation, coordinating with PA & NJ agencies and clients while collaborating

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or environmental).
4+ years of professional engineering experience.
PA PE license is a plus; experience with PA/NJ DEP permitting is a plus.
Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Develop design criteria for water/wastewater facilities, including treatment and conveyance.
Design project plans and prepare technical reports, cost estimates and specs; coordinate with regulators for permitting.
Communicate with team and clients regarding design and construction of projects.
Perform field data collection and site visits; provide construction administration as needed.
Assist with additional tasks as needed.
